| Inigo Rose did a performance of multi-dimensional devices at Kinetica Art Fair 2010. "What initially interested and motivated me to make these machines was a desire to create works that have potential to affect physiologically, that create and function within a physiological aesthetic interacting with the viewer on many levels including entraining the brain waves of the viewer to specific receptive frequencies. The use of a strobe light can induce this neuro-psychological physiological response and at the same time creates a film like flickering that is used here to illuminate the animations. I feel it?s necessary that a performer or performers activate the Devices as the machines function like finely tuned instruments creating rhythmic harmonies in sound as well as with light. I'm interested here in suggesting choices but also experimenting with and perhaps destabilizing and undermining any preconceptions the viewer might have regarding the nature of these choices."
