Kinetica
will be at i-Design 09,
a unique one day conference in central London next Thursday
24th September, forming the digital aspect of
the London Design
Festival. It aims to inspire, entertain and explore how
our digital future looks set to progress and what role interactive
design will take in our cultural and social life. Alongside
the conference Cybersonica are producing an interactive media
exhibition, Virtually Real, where Kinetica will present Balint
Bolygo's Laser Theremin, exhibited at
this year's Art Fair.

The
exhibition also includes work from emerging arts collective
TINT, interactive works by Squidsoup, an
installation
by The
Sancho Plan, Fiddian
Warman's Neurotic pogoing robot, Soda's
Generative Art System, and
work from Jason Bruges Studio,
SHOWStudio,
VisionLabz
Gold, Musion Academy, MOTH, Monome, Teenage Engineering, Lichtfaktor
and Owl Project.
On Tuesday
29th September the artists move to Old
Spitalfields Market where they will present their
work through workshops and performances among the stalls of
the recently re-opened Market.

Announcing
Kinetica Art Fair 2010
4 - 7 February 2010
The fundamental
aim for the Kinetica Art Fair is to bring together galleries,
museums and organisations from around the world who specialise
and focus on kinetic, electronic, robotic, light, sound, time-based
and interdisciplinary new media art.
This unique event is designed to provide invaluable opportunities
for new and dedicated collectors of these artworks, while promoting
the mission of Kinetica Museum to support the development and
commercial enterprise of kinetic, electronic and new media art. |

| Kinetica
Art Fair 2010 will take place at P3, the 14,000 sq ft multi-disciplinary
arts venue on Marylebone Rd (opposite Baker St tube).
Galleries,
museums, art dealers, artists collectives, curatorial groups
and individual artists are invited to participate. Publications
and journals specialising in kinetic, electronic, robotic, sound,
time-based and new media art are also invited to take part.
Deadline
for earlybird applications is 5th
October 2009.
Deadline for
all other applications is 5th
November 2009.

Kinetica
presents Tom Wilkinson at Jeju Museum of Art, South Korea
|
| Tom
Wilkinson's kinetic sculpture Light Wave is currently being
exhibitied as part of SU:MBISORI, the inaugural International
Contemporary Art Exhibition at the new Jeju Museum of Art in
South Korea.
The exhibition
features 36 international contemporary artists from 11 countries
that encompass Europe, Middle East, Asia and the USA and is
divided into two parts: Nature and Humans.
