Kinetica Art Fair provides a global platform for galleries, curatorial groups, design studios and artists working in the realm of interdisciplinary new media art. Now in its sixth year, the Fair has moved to an Autumn date and a new venue: the Truman Brewery in East London, ideally placed for collectors, curators and the public to view and buy artworks in this thriving and advancing field. The Fair has in a short number of years become a landmark event on the Art Fair calendar and is the only fair of its kind in the UK to provide an international platform for kinetic, electronic & new media art.
To date Kinetica Art Fair has welcomed exhibitors from over 25 countries. Annually it receives over 12,000 visitors, and has generated hundreds of news stories across leading international print and broadcast media.
Alongside the Fair, Kinetica present a daily programme of talks, presentations and performances where eminent pioneers, experimental artists, performers and key figures in the field of new media art, cybernetics and neurosciences are invited to participate.
Kinetica is interested in the movement of our times, in presenting works that in essence are a statement of our evolution, where we have come from, where we are now and where we are being propelled.
