Aphra Shemza

Aphra Shemza is a London based artist. Her work explores and experiments with many different mediums ranging through photography, drawing, sculpture, performance, film and kinetic based installations. Her approach to creating her work starts with abstract, geometric and scientific research and often involves the human body to translate these concepts to an audience.

With the use of mechanics she creates sculptures with a motion, representing a connection to time and giving a unique experience to the viewer. The way in which the viewer responds to her work is a key factor to the way in which it is produced.
