Once painters were intoxicated by turpentine and oils; sculptors by marble and granite, these were the media of the old masters. Today we have new media and I have discovered my own: I am passionate about waves. Waves come in many forms from the familiar surfers favourite, radio, sound, light and more. The waves I work with are a discovery I made while researching 3D projection. A form of wave still rarely seen in this country: luminous, dynamic and transparent.

Discovered more than twenty years ago, I have shown artworks based on this innovation in many countries in art and science museums. Currently I am building new pieces for Warsaw, Anchorage and Chicago Science Museums. I am also working on a project called The Wave Garden, and it is one of these 'strange plants' I will be showing at Kinetica.
