Reuben Margolin, a rising American artist has developed a series of large scale robotic wave sculptures/installations. The Spiral wave, featuring in Kinetica's 'Creatures Great and Small' show at Rove Gallery in October 2008 is a complex mechanical machine which creates mesmerising waves of motion on an x, y and z axis.
