Letizia Reuss

Letizia Reuss uses sound-sensor-to-motion animated robots coated with a soft and thus flexible plastic cover representing antique and Classic marble figures of long gone heroes and ideals.

The hollow sculptures dance in rhythm at the sound of music.

The Thinker of Rodin- in whom all recognize the image of the metaphysic aspiration of mankind- frivolously dancing hopes to joyfully and cynically provoke the viewer into questioning the paradox inherent to human nature.

Letizia is pursuing her artistic career whilst completing a Masters in Applied Imagination at Central St Martins.
