NowHere, 2012
Materials: Clock movements, display letters.
Auction Reserve: £250

Now Here is a time machine consisting of two parts. Two clock-like sculptures are displayed against each other with a certain
distance being kept in-between them. The hand of the clock on the left reads ‘Now’ and points downwards, the hand of the clock on
the right reads ‘Here’ and points upwards. Once an hour the two parts meet together in a horizontal line, as in latitude, they read
‘Nowhere.’ This, in a way, is a statement on the flux of all things, the passing of time that results in the change of one’s position in
the universe.
