KINETICA ART FAIR 2011
3rd - 6th February 2011 Ambika P3, Marylebone, London, UKThe most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science.

Kinetica Museum held the third annual Kinetica Art Fair in February 2011. At our art fair every year Kinetica curates a feature exhibition and performance programme of pioneering contemporary works and a stimulating events, alongside the stands taken up by divergent and exciting exhibitors from all over the world.
The fundamental aim of Kinetica Art Fair is to bring together galleries, museums, arts organisations, curatorial groups and self-represented artists from around the world who focus on universal concepts and evolutionary processes through the convergence of kinetic, electronic, robotic, sound, light, time-based and multi-disciplinary new media art, science and technology.
The fair aims to popularise artists and organisations working in these realms to a wider audience and to provide a unique environment for the commercial enterprise of this thriving art form. It also provides a platform for visitors to understand more about this international movement and to participate in the programme of talks, performances and workshops.
The theme of KAF2011’s feature exhibition and performance programme was Evolution of Body, Brain, Mind and Consciousness. The programme included presentations and performances from eminent and key artists, philosophers, thinkers and radicals exposing varying concepts and alternative dimensions in our quest to further human potential. Performances by Musion Academy’s performers and other unique 3D visual creations were screened and enacted daily at the art fair. Featuring Laura Healey, Ian Eames, Ben Sheppee, David Thomas, Steve G, Delisa and Randstad Gold VJ Award winner Life in a Beat.
The 2011 Fair had a larger international presence than in previous years with exhibitors from Ukraine, Georgia, Greece, Italy, USA, Spain, South Korea, UK, Norway, Holland, Switzerland and France.
Kinetica Museum would like to thank all participating artists, galleries, organisations, sponsors, supporters, interns and volunteers that have been vital to the making of Kinetica Art Fair 2011.
